For 2020, goals are greater, dreams are bigger and hopes are higher.
With just a couple of hours left till New Year, many of us are enthusiastic to grab this chance to start afresh and plan new aspirations!
Our Pakistani celebrities are no different and they too, like us, are intending some mega change in the New Year.
Some have exciting new projects lined up and are excited for the glitzy opportunities waiting for them in 2020. The rest are all set to reevaluate their lifestyle choice and are eager to change themselves for the better.
We reached out to our favorite actors and actresses so that they can confess about their New Year aims and spill the beans about their 2020 projects!
Knowing exactly how to ring in the New Year, here’s what Pakistani stars are pledging to change and unveil in the upcoming year.
Imran Ashraf
It won’t be wrong to say that Imran Ashraf rocked in 2019. He has become a hot property in the entertainment industry and the credit goes to the numerous avatars he donned so effortlessly in dramas this year!
So what’s next for our loving Bhola in 2020? We found out.
2019 has been very lucky for me, with Inkaar, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Jaal, and Kahi Deep Jalay. I got immense respect for which I am extremely grateful.
Mushk is coming up next on Hum TV, which I have written and it is being directed by Aehsun Talish. Every writer dreams that he gets a good director and my dream has come true.
My New Year’s resolution is that I will fight for our league, He added.
Navin Waqar
Our forever-favorite since her role as ‘Sara’ in Humsafar, Navin has always chosen her projects smartly. She shines in every avatar she portrays and we just cannot get enough of her, making us wish we see her in dramas more and more.

Here’s what Naveen is planning for herself and her fans in the New Year!
I have two projects in the pipeline and they will be starting in January and February. I am looking forward to that as it’s something I haven’t done before. I hope my fans will like that as well and show their support as they always have.
Self-improvement is something I believe to be a very important resolution for me and I make it every year. Kindness is another. And as far as a resolution regarding my career is concerned, it would be to take more risks.
Sami Khan
With two movies ‘Wrong No.2 and Kaaf Kangana’ along with two dramas ‘ Inkaar and Ishq Zahe Naseeb, Sami Khan had quite an eventful 2019.

Boasting a successive run this year, he has bigger plans for 2020 with a drama and the release of as many as three movies on the way.
“Well, I am doing one project for Hum TV. Its shoot will begin in January 2020 and then there are three movies namely ‘Yaara Vey, Lafangey and The Window’. Film shootings are completed so I will probably do some interesting work, especially for my television fans. Alhamdulillah, the audience will get to see some good work and I hope they like it.”
My New Year’s resolution is to spread positivity and smile. Stop worrying about what others are doing and just do my part in spreading positivity and peace. That’s the only way we can make the world a better place.
Furqan Qureshi
Trending on social media these days is none other than Furqan Qureshi.
The year is ending by bringing massive success for the star and the actor is elated over how things have turned out for him!
I am absolutely delighted! I am super happy with the way things turned out for me in 2019. Both of my projects, ‘Daasi’ and ‘Meray Pass Tum Ho’ turned out to be a hit.
For future projects, I have become a bit reluctant over what I choose next. Because it gets difficult to decide what to do in the future, once any of your projects become successful. You get a lot of offers and you have to filter out the good ones. So I am just using my brain these days as much as I can so I can choose whatever is best for me.
My ultimate New Year resolution in regards to my career would be to keep my head straight and get more serious. Earlier, I used to thrive on my talent and used to think that talent is something that is enough for somebody to be successful. But it has a lot to do with your temperament as well. In 2020, I am aiming to maintain as much temperament as I can.
Ghana Ali
With big plans lined up ahead, Ghana divulged that she has as many as four dramas coming out soon, two of them will be aired on Hum TV.
What’s more, she even has three movies in the pipeline!
I am currently working on 4 different dramas. Two for Hum TV ‘Dilruba’ and ‘Jog’, one for Play Entertainment and one for A-Plus. For films, one is ‘Gawah Rehna’ and there are two more Alhumdulillah! For those interested, stay tuned to my projects. People will love them because all three characters are different from one another.
My New Year’s resolutions had started a long time back. I didn’t wait for New Year for it (Laughs). It’s just my work is my life partner for the next 3 years.
Kinza Hashmi
All set to be seen across Asad Siddiqui in upcoming Hum TV drama ‘Tera Yaha Koi Nahi’, Kinza is all set to kick off a brand new year with some major surprises in store.
However, she remains super secretive over what is coming up next. Nevertheless, she has a real relatable goal planned for her growing career.

Alhumdulillah 2019 was a great year for me. I have been blessed with a lot of success and looking forward to 2020. I can’t disclose the projects yet, but hopefully, I will surprise my fans with something great like earlier.
I have a long list of resolutions! But one I can share is I will keep on doing great work and will never disappoint my fans as I love them.
Nimra Khan
The Alif Allah Aur Insaan actress, Nimra Khan has been pretty selective with her projects this year. But she is aiming beyond the skies in 2020 and we have a major update over what she is up to next!
The starlet revealed to us that she is all set to launch a shoe brand in Pakistan. Moreover, she is also kick-starting her YouTube channel.
Here’s what she had to say:
Besides Acting, soon I’m going to launch a shoe brand and with this, I’m starting my YouTube channel too. I am really looking forward to what’s in the box.
My New Year’s resolution would be to work even harder with determination in mind!
Ali Safina
Hilarious that he is, Ali Safina is planning to spread more laughter and earn even greater applause in 2020.
But is he returning as ‘Joji’ for a possible Suno Chanda Season 3? He didn’t reveal much but we are surely seeing him on Hum TV in the New Year!

Here’s what he revealed to us:
I’m going to be working in two movies in 2020 InshaAllah. In 2019, I also shot for Faysal Qureshi’s “Money Back Guarantee” which will be a lot of fun to watch in theatres in 2020.
On the television front, there are a few projects that I’m considering to do. One of them will be on HUM TV.
For New Year’s resolution, I’m going to try to be disciplined with my routine when it comes to my career, stay hydrated, be regular at the gym, and make sure I have plenty of time to spend with my baby girl. Also, focus more on the selection of scripts amongst so many other things.
Raza Talish
We saw him in Suno Chanda this year and we want to see Raza Talish even more in the upcoming year. After all, he is a star in the making, boasting immense potential and is eager to prove his acting prowess to the world!
Here’s what he is planning for himself in 2020:
Next for me is setting a bar for myself. Mithu was a one of character. It’s time I need to prove my versatility. Getting stereo-casted isn’t something I would want with my acting career.

After an intimate mayun and mehendi ceremony, the two finally tied knot in a day-time nikkah ceremony.
