Valentine Day Special: we asked our favorite Pakistani stars their view on ‘Love’

Seeking inspiration on love and matters of the heart? Well, who better to turn to for some deep insight on romance than our favorite celebrities?

We all know relationships require a lot of hard work.  It can be simple to fall in love but staying steady throughout and making it thrive is a challenge of a lifetime.

While every-body craves a rom-com worthy story and mushy romantic confessions; the truth remains that the idea of ‘Ishq’ and ‘Mohabbat’ is not like a fairy-tale as it appears to be.

Love especially becomes demanding for celebrities who remain in the spotlight. Our superstars endure the same passionate emotions as we do. They go through similar feelings of affection, heartbreak, and vulnerability exactly like us. While we may never know the real sentiments they experience, their words and stories can indeed influence us on how to make love last forever.

In the light of Valentine’s Day, we asked our favorite celebs on what is their view of ‘Pyaar’. Below are some valuable responses that are bound to restore your faith in love!

Zahid Ahmed

We all have read Zahid’s relentless struggle to historic stardom! However, his wife ‘Amna’ has been his rock all along.  Even though they have endured some challenges in the past, Mr. and Mrs. Zahid Ahmed came out strong, making themselves a power pair we all look up to.

View on Love: Love is a really special, different feeling when you know that the person you are with is someone you can wholly and solely trust.

Relationship Advice to the Young: Love is not the same as lust.

A Message to a Beloved: To my husband, Atif! Thank you for letting me be me! I love you so much!

Yasir Hussain

The newly-wed actor is all over Instagram as he cannot resist gushing over his darling wife, Iqra Aziz. Any guesses on what his relationship advice is? Here’s what he told us:

View on Love: My take on love and how I define the feeling is already very public. You can watch any recent award shows to know more about it.

Relationship Advice to the Young: I believe our youngsters are far ahead than us. In fact, we should take advice from them in regards to love. However, I will advise them that love is a very beautiful feeling and there should always be an element of respect in it.

A Message to a Beloved: My Valentine’s Day message will be to my newly-wed, beloved wife that she has made my life beautiful with her love. Keep loving me the same way and I love you immensely as well.

Usman Mukhtar

He made us swoon as the handsome and broody Altamash in Anaa. And we couldn’t help wondering what Usman’s take on ‘love’ is off-screen? Well, we are now even a bigger fan of the hero after knowing his thoughts on the matter.

View on Love: We shouldn’t limit the word love to ‘Oh I love my wife’ or ‘I love my girlfriend’. Love is a very beautiful feeling and it should be celebrated. For me, love is loving my mother, my family, my sister and my niece.

Relationship Advice to the Young: Celebrate love, respect your wife and respect women. The same goes for the women as well- respect your husbands. We need more love in this world and less hate. Since I keep seeing the opposite, I stress on the fact that we need to spread love more.

A Message to a Beloved: I would like to give a shout-out to my mother, Nasra Khan. I love you and I will always love you. Thank you for being such a strong force and role model in my life.

Sami Khan

Effortlessly donning the role of a romantic hero on screen, Sami Khan has always been impeccable as an earnest lover boy who could sway any woman off her feet!

However, this Valentine’s day, Sami is all about expressing his love to his Creator, his Sustainer and is grateful towards Him for his achievements.

View on Love: Love is something that cannot be defined in words, it’s a feeling that makes you a human being.

Relationship Advice to the Young: Love is unconditional. If there is any hidden motive then it’s not what you call as love.

A Message to a Beloved: I just want to say, “Allah I love YOU”.

Hajra Yamin

The young and the restless, Hajra Yamin has truly left us inspired with her take on love in life. This Valentine’s Day, she is all about accepting people, loving herself and being there for her cats. You go, girl!

View on Love: Love is having a big mug of lavender and chamomile tea, after a long day, with your favorite person, or at times by myself with my cats giving me company.

Relationship Advice to the Young: Love the other person for who they are, not with the expectation of changing them, that’s their own personal process. Most importantly, love and accept yourself first.

A Message to a Beloved: My tribe. For sticking around. For always being there. For loving me and caring for me in the most difficult times. They know who they are!
