‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’ to become first Pakistani film to release in China

A tribute to Pakistan Airforce, Parwaaz Hai Junoon is all set to release in China on November 13, 2020. 

Produced under the banner of Momina & Duraid Films, the Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir and Hania Aamir starrer will be the first Pakistani production to release in Chinese mainland cinemas in over three decades.

The annoucement news was first shared on the official Instagram page of the movie. Followed by Hamza Ali Abbasi, who broke the news on twitter to express his appreciation for the move and shared the trailer with all his fans.

“Grateful to Allah that I got to be a part of the first Pakistani film to be released in China after 40 years,” the Mann Mayal actor revealed on Twitter

The agreement to bring the film to the mainland was signed in April 2019 at a China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation forum during the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

The story of Parwaaz hai Junoon, portrays the lives of air force pilots, how they get married, have families, fall in love while always staying true to an underlying mission that rules their lives. Ultimately, the story also includes [the military operation] Zarb-e-Azb and narrates how our soldiers valiantly fought to eradicate terrorism.

The film was earlier released in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 4th November, 2018 and now is expected to release in theatres of China On 13th November, 2020.
