HUM Network has always been a pioneer when it comes to the entertainment industry!
They were the first ones to revert to the traditional Pakistani drama fifteen years back and also the first to host international awards abroad.
In another landmark step, the HUM Network managed to honor 11 iconic women from around the world (and a gentleman) in a ceremony that has no equal at the moment.
Held at the picturesque Governor House in Karachi, the inaugural edition of HUM Women Leaders Award 2020 was an event that would be remembered for a long time because of its grandeur, its elegance and bringing people from different fields and appreciating their contribution in their respective fields.
Mira Sethi and Sanam Saeed were the perfect choices to host the event!
When you have the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi as the Chief Guest, the US Ambassador to the country HE Paul W Jones and Governor Sindh Imran Ismail gracing the occasion, hosting the event becomes a huge responsibility.

However, popular film and TV actresses Mira Sethi and Sanam Saeed didn’t show any signs of nervousness and proved to be graceful hosts of the night. Be it Mira Sethi’s personal touches or Sanam Saeed’s elegance, they gave special attention to those who were the recipients and those who came to handover the awards.

The veteran singer concluded the proceedings with her famous song Hamari Intehai Shauq Kia Hai and no other song could have been more apt than this, especially for an occasion where those who reached the sky were honored.
